For this week's teaser I have selected a passage from Eve: A Novel of the First Woman by Elissa Elliott. I am finding this book to be vastly interesting, despite only being a short way through it."Eden is a distant memory, yet it persists, under the skin, like a mosquito bite. It has been so long ago now that Adam and I lived in the Gardern that, often, I wonder if it was just a passing dream or a figment of my imagination" pg. 31.
For this book - instead of doing historical spotlights - I will be doing some Biblical spotlights on the characters. I am not very religious, and therefore am not very familiar with these characters. I thought it would be interesting and helpful to me to explore them, so keep an eye out for it.
