I just had a moment of realization yesterday, as I was posting my review of A Rose Without A Thorn by Jean Plaidy and comparing it to my review of The Boleyn Inheritance. I recently acquired a gently used copy of The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory at my library's book sale. I am very excited to be able to offer this up for giveaway this week to coincide with my Katherine Howard theme.
This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only and the winner of the giveaway will be announced on February 28, 2010.

I own a copy of this book, so dont need another (am in Australia anyhow), but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it! I read it at the end of last year and liked it just as much as I did THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL (my review is at my blog). A giveaway well-worth entering! :)

I need this book. I like Philippa Gregory's work. I know it will be wonderful like her others.

I already own just about all of Gregory's tudor-esque novels. But I will certainly try to put the word around to other blogs because this is one of my favorite books by her and should not be missed!
ReplyDeleteI read "The Boleyn Inheritance" some time ago and completely agree with your reaction to Katherine Howard. I know she was young, but still, she comes off as annoyingly superficial and just so unaware of the danger she's in. She should know that the man she's married to is the *king*, who's already sent one wife to the block.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a copy of this book. Please enter me in the giveaway. :)
