Mailbox Monday #77

This week I picked up three very good books - one of which came in the mailbox, two I got at Barnes and Noble, but I wanted to include them anyway.

For review from Amazon Vine I received the audiobook of The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin.  It couldn't have come at a better time, as that day I had finished my previous audiobook.  And let me tell you....it's SO good!  I am very much enjoying this book.  I also didn't know it was set partially in Newport, RI during the time of the fabulous mansions.  You can listen to a clip from this audiobook to see what I mean.

Friday night we went to Barnes and Noble to get The Map of Time by Felix J Palma for my boyfriend - which I am intending to read at some point after he is done.  He is enjoying it so far.  I have been very excited about this one.

Then while I was at the store I finally found the religious fiction section - I had been looking for a couple of books for awhile but couldn't find the section - and then I realized there was another section of store that I hadn't noticed before and there it was!  SO I was able to pick up book 2 in The Great War Series -  Whisper on the Wind by Maureen Lang.  I still don't have book 1, but I have now found books 2 and 3.

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia at The Printed Page but it is now on a monthly blog tour.  For the month of July it will be hosted by Gwendolyn B at A Sea of Books.

  6. Melissa - I will likely review it (at some point!), in the mean time my boyfriend is planning on reviewing it on his blog during an upcoming (date to be determined) time travel week. I will put out an update when that is coming up.
