We can all say that you should never judge a book by its cover, but I guarantee that we all have done so at least once! Cover Crush is designed to feature some of those covers that have caught the eye as a standout on the bookshelf.
You know what this cover says to me? The woman is thinking, “screw it, I don’t care if there’s a war, I’m off to [insert locale here]”. She’s going anywhere else but where she is at. I love the foggy, blurry nature of the cover – how you can tell where it is set but only just barely. I can’t wait to actually read this one, love Kate Quinn and can’t wait to see where she goes with a more modern timeline.
What are your thoughts on this cover?
I wonder what my friends are crushing on this week? Let’s check it out: 2 Kids and Tired Books, A Bookaholic Swede, Layered Pages, A Literary Vacation, Of Quills and Vellum.
I've had this one on my list for a while now, partially because I love the cover!
