This is going to probably be a short post - I already told you in yesterday's post that I get most of my books from the library - I have only ever bought 2. And I don't usually seek out an audiobook because I heard it was a great production - I just randomly pick things that I want to read.
But I can share a great place to go to find audiobook reviews - it's called Audiobook Jukebox. This blog is dedicated to reviews of audiobooks. Anyone who has a blog and reviews can send them the link to their review and it will be added to the mega list. This way you can look for the book you want and see possibly many different reviews of the book (I have been really bad about sending in my links so they are sporadic for me!).
Also, you can check out blogs that host audiobook reading challenges - they usually have a linky or something like it where bloggers can link up their reviews and you can check those out. A couple that I know of are: Bewitched Bookworms (Whisper Stories in My Ear challenge) and Teresa's Reading Corner (2011 Audio Book Challenge).
That isn't many secrets, do you have any?

I think that is a pretty common way of finding things to listen, honestly, at least among people who don't use Audible or a similar subscription service.
ReplyDeleteNo secrets here but thanks for the tip on the audio reviews site. Some speakers are brutal and it's best to avoid them.
