Cover Crush: The Last Road Home

We can all say that you should never judge a book by its cover, but I guarantee that we all have done so at least once! Cover Crush is designed to feature some of those covers that have caught the eye as a standout on the bookshelf.

What I loved about this cover is that it is subtle and simple - just a table set for tea looking out at the barn and fields.  It's peaceful and beautiful.  There are no hard edges, everything is bathed in a soft light.  Even though this is just barely historical fiction (1950s and 1960s), I would seriously consider this one just from the cover alone!
