The 4 Month Challenge Part 7


I am again participating in The 4 Month Challenge - Part 7!  I love this challenge because it is always fun to see where I can fit the books I am reading.  It is again hosted by The Book Drunkard.  Basically you want to read one book for each category listed below - that means 20 books - over the course of the 4 month period.  I have only completed this challenge once, but I like to see how far I can get.  This challenge runs from August 1, 2011 to December 1, 2011.  Here are the categories, I will keep track as I go:

5 POINT CHALLENGES


Author Name – first or last – begins with A - Complete - A Perfect Union by Catherine Allgor
Read a book featuring a teen or teens - Complete - The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell
Genre you don’t normally read
Read a book about a musician (living or deceased, real or fictional)

Read a book with a person on the cover wearing red

    ^.^ SOunds like a fantastic reading challenge! I'm scared to join in on the fun, because my fall semester starts in September....so I know I'll slack. hahaha. Good luck though!

    Would love to do it if you could pick one from each group but I am already doing two other challenges and I need to review for GoodReads, Amazon Vine and Library Thing. Don't think I have better.

    Chelsea - no it can be any genre you want and in any format (paperback, audio, ebook etc).

    Carol - I am crazy busy reviewing for many of those same things too. The way I approach challenges is not to take on anything additional to what I am reading, but figure out how I can fit what I read into the challenge. I don't think I will finish this but it's fun to see what can fit where.

    It actually doesn't look like it would be too hard. The hardest part would be reading that many books, or not. I don't participate in challenges because I am terrible at keeping track of what I'm doing and reporting. Maybe my house is straightened up (100 years from now).
    I just might print this one off and see if I can do it.

    Librarypat - I find the same thing, it's not hard to do but reading that many books is really hard.
