A couple of weeks ago I told you of a new historical video game and now I have another one for you if you happen to have a Nintendo DS.
The new game is called The Brotherhood of the Wolf and is the first part in a series called Marie Antoinette and the American War for Independence. According to the press release "the game, set in the 18th century during the American War of Independence, features many puzzles in this game set in historical Yorktown, Penn., Philadelphia and Versailles, France." Also, "the game’s 10 hours of gripping gameplay will send the player on an enthralling investigation. Through a series of varied and fun-packed minigames, the player will dive into international diplomacy, major battles and deadly plots featuring prominent French and American figures such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, Rochambeau, LaFayette and Vergennes."
Sounds like it could be fun...but I don't have a DS.
My daughter has a DS... so this intrigues me. I have so many things to do that are on my "Free Time" list and I don't want to add one more thing to it. But I think this is fantastic, especially if it is geared towards younger folks like my daughter.
Looks good. I am terrible at video games and do not have a DS. My grandson does and I know his mom, my daughter plays games on it. This would be good for both of them.. A bit of history doesn't hurt anyone.

ReplyDeleteI love video games waaaay too much and this is totally up my alley!
ReplyDeleteMarie - I think it looks like it would be enjoyable for any age - but a good mix of history and fun.
ReplyDeleteAudra - I like video games too, but I don't have any kind of hand held system.
