Expand Your Vocabulary

I know I'm a little behind with this one, but I have had more exciting/pressing posts lately :). Alright here are the words from The Heretic Queen.
  • Faience – (n) glazed earthenware or pottery, esp. a fine variety with highly colored designs
  • Wadis – (pl. n) A valley, gully, or streambed in northern Africa and southwest Asia that remains dry except during the rainy season
There were other words that I didn't know but there was a glossery of some of them in the back of the book.

  2. a glossary in the back is perfect, instead of googling the word.
