I loved Delors first book and have been anticipating this since she mentioned it on her website.
ReplyDeleteAm I wrong or did this have a different cover? I seem to remember something with a painting of a gentleman (that ended up being used for a Darcy book) and a smaller detail of an actual contemporary painting/illustration of the bombing and C. Delors asking for reader input. This cover is incredible and certainly an improvement.
I am an official follower (excuse me, courtier) now, thanks for your help Heather!

I read Ms. Delors' "Mistress of the Revolution" and I loved it. I''m sure I will find this book as good, or better. I like to read about Napoleon's era. I get confused about him. Was he a brutal imperialist dictator or an idealistic benevolent dictator who wanted to spread French culture. I've read Selinko's "Desiree" and it's one of my favorite books. I'm sure I will love "For the King" as well.
ReplyDeleteLooks good. Please accept my entry. Thanks.
